The first pre-configured service package of the Bosch IoT Suite – Bosch IoT Suite for Asset Communication – is available now. This use-case-specific configuration of two Bosch IoT Suite services not only supports the scalable and secure ingestion of large volumes of sensor and asset data but also the remote control of your assets.
The service package comprises the Bosch IoT Hub, which takes care of large-scale device connectivity, and Bosch IoT Things, which manages the digital representation (digital twins) of your physical devices.
Thanks to its pre-configured character, the service package provides one single endpoint for device provisioning and allows use of the included services with a single and consistent OAuth2-based authentication mechanism.
Bosch IoT Suite for Asset Communication is available as a beta version on Amazon Web Services and can be used for evaluation purposes. The underlying services, Bosch IoT Hub and Bosch IoT Things, have both already been released for general use.
